Biography:
Valerie Pelleck is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg and certified as an Athletic Therapist in 2003. She completed her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation in 2015 at the University of Manitoba, where she investigated several outcome measures altered by attentional focus in a golf putting task. She has taught in the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health in a variety of roles since January 2010, specifically courses attached to the Athletic Therapy program as well as Human Anatomy and Prevention and Care of Injuries. Val has also been the Athletic Therapy practicum coordinator for several years, and through that role she manages all internal and external placements and leads student seminars related to those courses.
