Biography:
In an education career spanning almost 40 years, Lloyd Kornelsen has been a high school teacher, international practicum coordinator, university professor, and college administrator. Lloyd has been awarded the University of Winnipeg’s Clifford J. Robson Memorial Award for teaching excellence and the Manitoba Education Research Network Award for outstanding achievement in education research. He has written one book, Stories of Transformation: Memories of a Global Citizenship Practicum (ICIE, 2014) and co-edited another one, Teaching Global Citizenship: A Canadian Perspective (Canadian Scholars, 2020). Currently, Lloyd is an Associate Professor, cross-appointed to Global College and Faculty of Education.
