Decolonial and International Pedagogy: Perspectives and Praxis
Thu. Oct. 3 12:30 PM
- Thu. Oct. 3 02:00 PM
Location: Via Zoom
This roundtable will share perspectives from International and BIPOC Faculty comparing pedagogic praxis and perspectives that they are bringing from other spaces and places into their classrooms and courses here at the University of Winnipeg. Recently hired colleagues have taught in other institutions and countries and have much to share from a comparative point of view, and in terms of connecting communities to the university. In this roundtable we consider how Decolonial approaches can also benefit our Indigenous and International students, and enrich the experiences of domestic students, many of whom will work in education and with communities.
