Location: Buhler Centre, 3BC55
Graduation is a time of excitement and nervousness, as you close one chapter of your life to begin another. But it’s not easy, and many students who are transitioning into the work world are unsure where to start. That’s where we come in!
WCM is excited to share that its Prairies-based Steering Committee in partnership with The Faculty of Business and Economics is hosting a “Preparing for the Workforce” lunch and learn session for students living in the Winnipeg area on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
The session, which will run from 12:00pm to 1:30 p.m. will include key tips and information to help set you up for success for those interested in a career in finance. Students will hear directly from established and accomplished professionals, who will share their own experiences and insight into navigating the industry and standing out among the crowd.
Canada’s finance sector is vast and has many opportunities available. This event, which is open to women, gender-diverse individuals and men across Winnipeg, will provide the practical advice you need as you take your first steps to launch a successful career.
This free event is open to all University of Winnipeg students, with lunch provided.
