Links to Source Documents

The data for the above visualizations and the database as a whole was collected first from official government websites or publications. Our Research Assistants then looked to academic sources and finally to media sources. In the cases of discrepancies, we went in that order as well, and favoured more recent material over older materials. We favoured documents from the ministries of education or appropriate ministries over other documents. Of course, educations policies are constantly changing and the implementation of policies is often delayed or never completed. Such changes account for discrepancies among the differing sources of information. If you are aware of recent changes that have made our data out of date, please see the contact page below and let us know.

This page provides links for each country to a public Dropbox where the documents used are available.

If you cannot access the documents through Dropbox you can contact me and other arrangements may be able to be made, p.ives@uwinnipeg.ca
