UWinnipeg alum Kirby Côté inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame
Kirby Côté is one of Canada’s most decorated Paralympic swimmers. Between 2000 and 2008, she represented Canada at three Paralympic Games, winning seven gold and six silver medals. Kirby was inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame at a special event in Gatineau, Quebec in October.
Rosa Walker to receive Distinguished Alumni Award at Fall Convocation
The UWinnipeg Alumni Association Council is proud to recognize Rosa Walker (BA 91) with the Distinguished Alumni Award. She will be honoured at the 125th Convocation on Friday, October 18.
