In this workshop graduate students learn how to craft a compelling pitch that clearly communicates the value and significance of their research. Graduate Student Writing Mentor Blake Carter and Graduate Studies Awards and Communications Officer Carolyn Garland will guide you through the process of identifying the key points of your work and articulating them in a way that resonates with your audience. Whether you're seeking funding, looking for collaborators, or simply want to improve your communication skills, this workshop is a must-attend for all graduate students.
Students will also learn about the Three-Minute Thesis Competition, which will provide them the perfect opportunity to practice their pitch!
