This placement was hosted by the Health Division of the Norway House Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba. Rachel Bach and Alison Everitt worked on several proposals and initiatives that were requested by the Home and Community Care program. In particular, research was conducted and a paper written on the need for an independent living facility for adults living with Special Needs in the community. The students also participated in several events such as the “Norway House Celebrates Moms and Babies” and a community fish fry.
