Stephen Hawking - A Personal Perspective

Stephen Hawking was one of the leading theoretical physicists of his generation. I will give an overview of his ground-breaking contributions to science. I had the good fortune of being a postdoc in Stephen's group for two years, and I will try to describe some of my strong impressions of him as a person.
