Winnipeg Grad Student Places at National Conference

Brad Cownden Earns 3rd Place in CAP Oral Presentation Competition

Brad Cownden is a PhD student at the University of Manitoba, supervised by the University of Winnipeg's Assistant Professor, Dr. Andrew Frey. Brad's research is in Physics beyond the Standard Model, including String Theory. He placed third in the competition for best student oral presentation in the division of Theoretical Physics at the Canadian Association of Physicists annual conference, which was held at the University of Alberta from June 15-19th, 2015. Congratulations, Brad!
