Welcome Dr. Bev Fredborg!

The Psychology Department is delighted to welcome (back) our newest faculty member, Dr. Bev Fredborg, who begins her tenure on July 1, 2023. Dr. Fredborg is an alumna of UWinnipeg's Biopsychology program and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). In her supervised clinical practice, Dr. Fredborg applies various therapies and trauma-focused evidence-based treatments to assist clients with early childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, and/or those struggle with emotion dysregulation, life transitions, grief/loss, and shame. At UWinnipeg, Dr. Fredborg will expand her clinical research and teach clinical-related courses. Her first course will be in Fall 2023--Introduction to Clinical Psychology (PSYC-2700).
