Abstract:

“A sample of the numerous psychological phenomena consistent with weak inhibitory processes early and late in life will be reviewed. I will also demonstrate that this inhibition hypothesis is consistent with other proposed accounts for lifespan development and provides a solid platform from which to create mechanistic models for diverse psychological phenomena.”
