Internal Research Grants
The University of Winnipeg is committed to assisting our faculty in the pursuit of academic research and knowledge mobilization. Through a variety of internal research grant programs, we support faculty at all stages of their research program. See more below for an overview of the internal research grants and more information on institutional research policies.
For Major Research Grants, the Department Research Committee and Department Chair are required to provide an evaluation and sign off on an application. Researchers must then upload these evaluations to your application in WebGrants before the intake deadline. Here are the forms:

NOTE: The intake dates for the internal funding programs have changed. See the list of revised submission dates for internal awards below. There is no change to the total amount of funding available through internal awards. The first application intake in the fiscal year is June 3 (please note this one-time change of date) and the last is March 15. All applications are to be submitted in WebGrants.
