Early Career Researcher Day, offered Research Manitoba, along with post-secondary partners brings emerging researchers together with experienced grant writers and funding experts to interactively explore the entire research lifecycle. Through info sessions, panels and practical workshops, participants will cover a wide range of topics that span the research lifecycle, including funder mandates and priorities knowledge mobilization, equity, diversity and inclusion, and data management planning. ECRs will share their research with others and jointly develop original research project ideas in order to engage with the entire research lifecycle. This event is a unique opportunity to:
- Learn first-hand about funder mandates and priorities from those who work with them or represent them directly.
- Create new partnerships between early career researchers in Manitoba.
- Learn tips to write a grant application that is not just a good idea, but also conveys feasibility and competence.
- Learn more about emerging issues in the research world
This event is aimed at Early Career Researchers, but anyone interested is welcome to attend. For those whose schedules don’t permit a full day, please feel free to RSVP to the morning or the afternoon session.
