Yvette Shang, Senior Advisor, Manitoba Business Development, Mitacs leads this online session showcasing the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship program.
Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative for international undergraduates from the following countries and regions: Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom and the United States. From May to October of each year, top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the supervision of Canadian university faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines, from science, engineering, and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.
Faculty members interested in hosting an intern for Summer 2025 are encouraged to attend this info session. This session will provide information covering the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program, including an overview of the GRI timeline and the application procedure, and the Globalink Graduate Fellowship. There will be time for questions at the end of the session.
Mitacs is currently accepting faculty projects and the deadline to submit projects to the Mitacs Globalink Portal is June 4, 2024 at 3 p.m. CT.
