MyCreds™
The University of Winnipeg has partnered with a national online portal called MyCreds™. This is an online credential wallet that contains official documents you have received from UWinnipeg.
MyCreds™ provides quick access to official, digitized documents and credentials. It allows you to easily send documents to employers, government offices, funders, postsecondary institutions, and others.
At UWinnipeg, the following documents are provided through MyCreds™:
- Transcripts
- Letters to confirm enrolment or graduation
- Badges (Professional, Applied and Continuing Education)
- Degree parchments
Frequently asked Questions
You can request documents by filling out the appropriate form. These forms can be found online:
- Forms for undergraduate and graduate students
- Forms for PACE students
- Forms for English Language Program students
- Forms for Collegiate students
Once your request is processed, you will receive an email notifying you that the document is available in your MyCreds™ account. The email will include a link to where you can sign in to your MyCreds™ account using your UWinnipeg username and password. If you do not have an active UWinnipeg account, the email will include a link you can click to register for a MyCreds™ account.
If you’re a current student, MyCreds™ notifications will be sent to your UWinnipeg email address.
If you're a graduate or former student who no longer has a UWinnipeg email account, the notification will be sent to the email address you verified when you submitted your document request.
Yes. Once you have received documents, you can access them again anytime by signing directly into MyCreds™. You can do this by going to the MyCreds™ Education Provider sign-in page. Choose “University of Winnipeg” from the institution dropdown menu, and then sign in with your UWinnipeg username and password. If you do not have a UWinnipeg username and password, you can sign in using the MyCreds™ username and password you set up when you originally accessed the system.
Yes. Documents issued through MyCreds™ contain digital signatures that meet the legal requirements of certified digital documents in countries around the world. When you share a document using MyCreds™, these digital signatures ensure it’s an authentic document issued by the University of Winnipeg.
Please note that, to be official, documents must be sent through MyCreds™. Documents routed to a recipient from an individual’s personal email are not official.

MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ is owned by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC). It is a national credential wallet for post-secondary learners that has been created by Canadian higher education leadership. It represents an example of how ARUCC and Canadian colleges, institutes and universities are committed to ensuring official and secure document exchange and adhering to the Groningen Declaration Network (GDN) principles, which emphasize, “Citizens worldwide should be able to consult and share their authentic educational data with whomever they want, whenever they want, wherever.” ARUCC became a signatory to the GDN principles in 2015.
