Tune in Tuesdays
The "Tune in Tuesdays" webinar series is a great way to get advice on school and wellness-related topics that are often shared among students.
Tune in Tuesdays are hosted by Peer Wellness Educators, who are student staff that work out of The University of Winnipeg Wellness Centre. Their goal is to raise awareness around mental health and wellness on campus.
Connect with the Peer Wellness Educators over Zoom and learn about important and shared challenges in a 30-45 minute presentation! (See topics, dates and details below.) Pre-registration is required.

Are you worried about substance use or pleasure-seeking behaviours in yourself or those close to you? The concept of addiction is often misunderstood and can carry some stigma. Join the Peer Wellness Educators for this Tune In Tuesday, which looks critically and compassionately at how society views people with addiction issues. Rooted by harm reduction principles, the Peers will explore the history and neuroscience of addiction and the impact of trauma and social isolation on recovery. They will also share practical strategies for students to engage in self-regulation and recovery.
