Biography:
Melissa Novecosky has had the pleasure of working on over 50 productions at theatres across the country since 2006. Trained at the National Theatre School and The University of British Columbia, she has honed her skills on a variety of productions from some the smallest stages to some of the largest in Canada.
Selected theatre credits include: stage manager for Mamma Mia!; Sister Act; West Side Story; The Producers; Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Rainbow Stage), Seminar (Royal MTC/Mirvish), Billy Elliot the Musical; Good People; The Secret Annex (Royal MTC), Vigil; Social Studies; Best Brothers; Lawrence & Holloman (PTE), 500 Words (Green Thumb Theatre), assistant stage manager for The Little Mermaid; Mary Poppins; Annie; Footloose (Rainbow Stage), Vanya, Sonya, Masha, Spike (Royal MTC/Mirvish), Next to Normal; White Christmas; Gone with the Wind (Royal MTC), White Biting Dog; The Price (Soulpepper); Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (National Ballet of Canada) and a two year apprenticeship at the Shaw Festival.

As a member of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association and a member of Equity’s National Council, representing the stage management region, Melissa is committed is advocating for stage managers and mentoring young artists.
