Academic Advising

Academic Advising is available to all first-year and returning students.  

After you’ve had a chance to work your way through this website, you may want to speak with an Academic Advisor.  They can give you feedback on your course selection, course load and scheduling.  You can also request some feedback on your timetable from an advisor through the "Student Planning" online tool.

• Call for an appointment with an Academic Advisor at 204.786.9257; or 
• Visit the office on the 1st floor, Rice Centre, 489 Portage Avenue, during the Drop-in Hours (see website for hours); or
• Email specific questions to advising@uwinnipeg.ca
