What's University Like?
At university, you’ll enter a new world of interesting choices and exciting possibilities.
There will be much more freedom for you to make your own decisions. You choose which area(s) to study, pick the courses you will take, and create your own timetable.
To do this, you need to learn the requirements, important dates, how to choose your courses, etc. It’s easy – once you get the hang of it. Using this website is your first step!
At University, you will be more on your own. But you should never feel alone at The University of Winnipeg. Our professors are known for being friendly and approachable. They want to help you succeed. If you have questions or need some assistance, don’t hesitate to ask – after class or during their office hours.
