Who: Angele Maki (BSC4 98), Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development at ReCodeTherapeutics, Menlo Park, Calif., a biotech firm in Silicon Valley; Kleem Chaudhary (BSC4 98), Chief Operating and Business Officer, Redona Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge, Mass.
Dr. Angèle Maki, Senior Vice-President and Head of Business Development, ReCode Therapeutics
Dr. Maki has a Ph.D. in biological chemistry from Stanford University, where she carried out research into the mechanism of DNA bending using modified nucleotide bases. She completed postdoctoral work engineering zinc finger transcription factors at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, and has a B.Sc. in chemistry from the University of Winnipeg.
Dr. Kleem Chaudhary, Chief Operating and Business Officer, Redona Therapeutics
Dr. Chaudhary holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.Sc. from the University of Winnipeg. He has extensive leadership experience within the biotech and pharmaceutical industry with a focus on strategy, business development, finance and operations. Redona Therapeutics is a biotech company focused on developing medicines to address diseases caused by dysregulation of RNA and DNA processing and signaling.
