Keynote

It is our pleasure to announce that our keynote speaker is Professor Joel Christensen of Brandeis University.

Professor Christensen is an expert in Homeric epic and a scholar and critic who has worked, especially through www.sententiaeantiquae.com, to expand the world of Classics scholarship outside the classroom. He is the author of numerous books on Homer and epic including StoryLife: On Epic, Narrative, and Living Things (Yale University Press 2025).
