In an effort to reconnect with the community after the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Winnipeg (U of W) has rebranded its Skywalk Lecture Series to the Community Lecture Series and introduced new talks at a new location.
Dr. Melissa Funke, whose research focuses on a collection of Egyptian and Mediterranean antiquities held in the university’s Anthropology Museum, often tries to include students in her lectures. Elijah Casey has now assisted with two of her presentations, and Alex Cloney assisted at her most recent lecture.
