Undergraduate Programs
The undergraduate study of economics provides a comprehensive understanding of how the economy operates at both micro- and macro-levels. Using an analytical, problem-solving approach, students learn the theoretical, empirical and institutional aspects of modern economics, and can apply these tools to make informed judgments about current economic policies.
The Department of Economics offers the Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) degree in either Honours, 4-Year or 3-Year programs. We also offer a specialized 4-Year BA degree in Economics and Finance (the EFIN program).
