The UWinnipeg Co-operative Education Program (Co-op Ed Program) provides students with professional development, networking opportunities, and the potential opportunity to gain full-time, meaningful, and paid employment in their field of study.
Co-op Students go through high quality professional development training and experience real-world employment opportunities. Entering the program will allow you to discover career possibilities and gain new skills while building professional relationships.
Internships provide an opportunity to develop work experience in an industry of interest. They enhance skills developed through studies, and facilitate practical application and portfolio-building through real-world work assignments.
The FBE offers a variety of internships across many areas of study. These internships involve valuable on-the-job training that helps students develop their professional skills and can lead to future employment with the organization.
CPA Campus Recruitment is an opportunity for accounting and finance students who are interested in becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) to gain valuable work experience.

CPA recruitment is open to current and graduating UWinnipeg students. Job opportunities include summer internships, co-op placements, and full-time positions.
CPA Recruitment runs annually from September to November.

Orbis: Student Guide
Navigate to the FBE Connect portal and select Students > Student Login.
Log in with your UWinnipeg student credentials.
Once logged in, you will land on the FBE Connect dashboard.
Select ‘FBE Connect’ to access job postings:
On the FBE Connect Job Postings page you will be able to view postings by type – e.g. Full Time, Part-Time, Internships, Volunteer etc.
Select 'View all available postings' to see all the current opportunities.
Click on a job posting to view the full details, such as job description, job requirements, application info and company info. To apply, select ‘Apply’ at the top of the posting. You will then be required to upload the required application package (e.g. resume/cover letter):
Outcome Campus Connect
FBE Connect receives job postings from a service called Outcome Campus Connect – these positions are nationwide and are shared with all Universities and Colleges who use Orbis. You can identify an Outcome Campus Connect position by the red ‘O’ symbol alongside it:
