Please notice that with respect to public health situation on COVID-19 and its impact on the University of Winnipeg's functions, the "Feed Your Mind" lunch and learn lecture scheduled for March 25th is canceled until further notice.

All students and Faculty Members in Human Rights, Indigenous Studies, and the Master's in Development Practice: Indigenous studies (MDP) programs, as well as community members are invited to attend our monthly "Feed Your Mind" Lunch and Learn lecture series on MARCH 25, at 12:30 PM, in Global College, featuring Dr. Jaime Cidro. She will provide an overview of recently published work that relates to Canada's maternal birthing evacuation policy and the impacts on Indigenous women who are required to leave their communities to birth away from families and territory.

Dr. Jaime Cidro is a Director of the MDP Program and Canada Research Chair in Health Culture and Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology.

Come to see how you can learn about and associate your ideas of research with Dr. Cidro's research and policy-making, as well as their relation and impacts on people's lives. It will definitely be a lunch worthwhile to come for and a discussion to remember!

*Pizza lunch and physical copies of "Canada's forced birth travel: towards feminist Indigenous reproductive mobilities" will be available for free to all attendees.
