In this lecture, Pia Ranada will discuss the evolving role of journalists, highlighting how their work now extends beyond reporting to include working on creating impactful solutions for social challenges. Her lecture will explore how journalism can serve not only as a means of truth-telling but also as a platform for advocacy for collaborative action.
About the Speaker
Pia Ranada is head of community for Rappler. Previously, she was an investigative journalist and senior reporter for Rappler, best known for her coverage of the Duterte administration when she was assigned to cover the presidential beat. As Community Lead, she is now responsible for linking journalist with communities for impact and action.
