Sun. Jan. 17, 2021
Global College welcomes our Professor Shauna Labman to give a speech at our monthly "Feed Your Mind" virtual event series on Wednesday, February 24, at 12:30 PM.
An expert in the field of refugee sponsorship and a phenomenal Human Rights Professor Labman will give a talk “I wish I had a Human Rights Degree: My Meandering Path”. Her talk will be followed by a 'Q & A' session. From her excellence in teaching different courses, such as Concepts and Conventions in Human Rights; Global Human Rights Advocacy; Human Rights Institutions; and Refugee, Resettlement, and Resilience, the students of the Global College and the University of Winnipeg understand about Dr. Labman's work and research pathway. We invite you and the members of our community to join in the conversation about Professor Shauna Labman's career pathway more closely, her contributions to the community, and her contributions to the academia, including the students she has mentored.
