This week, Dr Kristi Kenyon hosted an international research meeting as part of the CIHR-funded project, “Combating Stigma and Social Isolation Among People Living with Lymphatic Filariasis in Ghana through Culturally Appropriate Interventions.”

The project, of which she is co-Principal Investigator alongside Dr Alexander Kwarteng (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana), is an interdisciplinary health research project addressing a stigmatized and neglected tropical disease. Colleagues attended from KNUST in Ghana as well as from 5 universities across Canada.
