The Canadian Journal of Urban Research (CJUR) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, scholarly journal dedicated to publishing articles that address a wide range of issues relevant to the field of Canadian urban studies. CJUR has been published by the Institute of Urban Studies, University of Winnipeg since 1992. Effective 2015 CJUR became an open access journal and has broadened its impact in terms of knowledge mobilization. Upwards of 100,000 CJUR articles are downloaded annually via Ebsco, ProQuest, Gale, Free E-Journals and Open Access Journal System and read by a global audience. CJUR welcomes papers focussing on urban theory and methodology, empirical research, problem and policy-oriented analyses, and cross-national comparative studies.
CJUR is financially supported by the Institute of Urban Studies, The University of Winnipeg.
Communicating and reproducing of CJUR, in paper or electronic form, for non-profit educational institutions, is governed by fair dealing in Canada and fair use in the USA. All other communication and reproduction uses should be requested from the editor of CJUR.

La Revue canadienne de recherche urbaine (RCUD) est gratuite pour les lecteurs inscrits au système de revue à libre accès (Open Access Journal System).
La Revue canadienne de recherche urbaine (RCRU) est une revue scientifique multidisciplinaire, revues par les pairs, dédiée à la publication d'articles qui adresse un large éventail de questions relevant du champ des études urbaines. Depuis 1992, RCRU est publiée par l'Institut des Études Urbaines (Institute of Urban Studies) de l’Université de Winnipeg. En 2015, RCRU a joint les revues à libre accès et a élargi son rayonnement et son impact. Plus de 1000,000 articles de RCRU sont téléchargés annuellement via EBSco, Proquest, et le système de revue à libre accès. RCRU sollicite des soumissions axées sur la théorie et méthodologie urbaine, la recherche empirique, des problèmes et des analyses axées sur les politiques urbaines, et les études comparatives transnationales.
