International students:

When applying for a study program in Canada, students are required to demonstrate proof of financial support as part of their application. As per IRCC guidelines, applicants must show they have sufficient funds to cover at least one year of tuition fees plus living expenses. For a single student, the estimated living expenses are calculated at a minimum of CAN$20,635 per year (information current as of October 2024). Please note that this amount is subject to change based on IRCC updates and may vary depending on the province or city of study. It is the student's responsibility to verify and provide adequate financial proof to meet the current requirements. Failure to do so may result in delays or refusal of the study permit application.
