POSTER WORKSHOP
This workshop will prepare undergraduate students who are presenting their poster in the 19th Annual Randy Kobes Undergraduate Poster Symposium on November 13. Or, address some of your questions if you're still thinking about entering! The following specifics will be discussed:
- Symposium Format
- How to present your poster
- Tips from an experienced Judge as to what they’re looking for
- Important Dates/Deadlines
Our guest presenter is a former experienced judge who will take the time to present what they're looking for in a prize-winning poster and presentation. They will provide examples of what judges enjoy and what things should be avoided. A member of the organizing committee will also summarize judges’ comments from previous years and go over tips for effective communication.
