Our Mission
The University of Winnipeg Security Services strives to provide a safe, secure, and healthy learning, living, and working environment for its students, faculty, staff, and visitors — while preserving a philosophy of unhindered community access.
UWinnipeg Security Services works closely with the Winnipeg Police Service, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, and other City of Winnipeg departments along with various federal and provincial departments to fulfil our mission.
Community-focused
Security Services at UWinnipeg is community-oriented and partners with the Downtown and West End BIZ associations to help deal with broader community-outreach issues.
Security Services is a member of the Downtown Security Network, run by the Downtown BIZ Association. This network provides its members with information on security issues affecting the downtown area.
