Canarie Summit National Cybersecurity Event
Tue. Feb. 4, 2020
CANARIE and its twelve provincial and territorial partners form Canada’s National Research and Education Network. This ultra-high-speed network connects Canada’s researchers, educators and innovators to each other and to global data and technology. Beyond the network, CANARIE funds and promotes a multitude of resources including the hosting of the CANARIE Summit, a crucial opportunity for Canada’s senior leaders from government, academia, the private and not-for-profit sectors to challenge their assumptions, explore new ideas, and engage with a diverse group of senior attendees. This year’s theme was Surviving Cybersecurity: A Canadian Guide and was attended by our UWinnipeg CIO, Kim Benoit and Centre for Academic Technology Director, Resty Jimenez.
