Biography:
Owen Campbell (he/him) is a white, queer and trans, settler on Treaty 1 land. He's an interdisciplinary scholar and educator with a focus on the cultures of food and their relations to human societies. In his full time work outside academia, Owen can be found on an educational urban farm, integrating hands-on agricultural and culinary practices, and helping youth connect to real-world food justice and sustainability issues.
