The Excel Empowerment Centre (TEEC) is looking for volunteers to help newcomer women one-on-one with foundational reading, writing, and spelling, and with group setting conversation. They are also looking for volunteers to help children age 6 to 16 with English and Math. There may also be other activities such as outdoor recreation for the women and girls newly arrived in the city.

Additionally, TEEC plans to provide basic English classes to improve communication skills, as well as opportunities for leadership development, small business training, and language training.
The Centre offers wellness workshops, fundraisers, peace days, family camping, field trips, traditional dancing, conflict training, trauma healing circles, life skills training, and youth leadership development.
