How to Make a Tutoring Appointment

Welcome to the University of Winnipeg’s Writing Centre. The Writing Centre offers in-person and online Writing Tutoring Services to University of Winnipeg Undergraduate Students enrolled in Fall/Winter/Spring or Summer courses. Each student is eligible for at least 2 one-hour free appointments each week (subject to demand and availability).

Physical Location: Rhetoric Department, Tutoring Centre, 3G10/11.

Booking System: Click on the link below to book an appointment. Please include your name, UWinnipeg e-mail address, student number, department, and what you would like to work on.

If you want to attach the text you are working on, you can attach the text(s) and send to rhettutor@uwinnipeg.ca

For in-person meetings, the session will be in room number 3G11, Graham Hall. If you have not met the tutor, please come 3G10 to be introduced to your tutor.

For on-line (Team) meeting, click on the purple “Join Your Appointment” box and wait for your tutor.

Cancellations are through Bookings. Last minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) and and missed appointments without cancellation notice may result in a warning and then loss of privileges.
