Racquetball, Squash & Handball
These spaces are available for scheduled bookings and Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre member use only.
Unlimited court usage is included with your Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre membership. There are four racquetball/handball courts and two squash courts located on the main floor of the Duckworth Centre. Members who wish to play with a non-member should report to the Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre Customer Service desk so the guest can purchase a Squash/Racquetball/Handball Day Pass.
Equipment is available for rent at the Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre customer service desk.
To book a court up to three days in advance:
- Log in to the Recreation Services portal here.
- Members can book up to two non-consecutive timeslots each day. For example, a member could play from 8:00-9:00 AM and then again from 4:00-5:00 PM.
- View or cancel your upcoming bookings by clicking your name in the top right-hand corner, then “Profile”, and then “Bookings”.
- Non-members must purchase a day pass to use the courts and may book a court at the Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre Customer Service Desk with same day purchase of Squash/Racquetball/Handball Day Pass, or over the phone if a day pass has been purchased online.

Racquetball Leagues
To participate, you must have BOTH a Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre membership AND Racquetball Manitoba membership. Please visit the Racquetball Manitoba website for more information on memberships.
- Singles Racquetball League – Thursdays from September to May, 6:00-10:00 PM
- Doubles Racquetball League – Mondays from September to May, 6:00-9:00 PM
- Women’s Drop-in – One Saturday per month
- Junior Lessons – Tuesdays from September to May
- Susan Livingston Tournament (January)
- Keystone Classic Tournament (February)
Squash Ladder
To participate, you must have BOTH a Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre membership AND Squash Manitoba membership. Please visit the Squash Manitoba website for more information on memberships.
Ladder – Players compete in rounds of play with 5-6 players over four weeks and at the end of each round, players move up or down the ladder depending on their wins and losses. A season of the squash ladder runs from September to May and typically consists of six or seven rounds of play. All skill levels welcome, with ladder groups for new and experienced players.
